Great article, Fola. Interesting to see what the development of a continental city can look like when it's focused on the social benefits from the ground up (rather than the "trickle down" of luxury flats and shopping malls!).

Thank you for sharing the resource on Green Apartheid also. I had been reading about zoning and environmental racism in the US but it's always interesting to see how phenomena function across the diaspora.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs comes to mind again, in spite of the controversy on his work. Africans may not value parks and gardens. Hopefully, this will change over generations, if local government administrators allocate more funds to parks. Your campaign is a good start. Well done!
